A Few Frequently Asked Questions

What is your training?

I began studying calligraphy in 2010 and am also a member of the International Association of Master Penman, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting. The wonderful thing about calligraphy is that there is always something new to learn! I’m fortunate to have received instruction from calligraphers such as Susie-Melissa Cherry, Suzanne Cunningham, Harvest Crittenden, Anne Elser, Younghae Chung, Pat Blair and many others.

Do you offer calligraphy for live events, brand activations or other on-site work?

Yes, I frequently do on site calligraphy for a variety of clients. Please contact me directly to discuss rates and availability for on-site calligraphy.

Do you teach calligraphy?

Yes, I periodically teach a group Beginning Calligraphy class. Enrollment is limited to eight students per class. I also offer private writing lessons as my schedule allows for students of all levels. If you are interested in learning with me, please contact me directly to discuss.

Do you offer invitation or stationery design?

My passion is calligraphy and the art of hand lettering. By having a narrow focus, I am able to devote significant time to learning and practicing new styles and techniques. I do love to see my lettering in print — whether it’s a full invitation suite or a few “spot calligraphy” details for a custom invitation suite. My invitation clients work with me alongside a graphic designer or stationer. Our combined expertise yields an elegant, cohesive and beautiful end product. If you do not yet have a stationer, I can refer you to some exceptionally talented designers and stationers.
